Who is Dav Pilkey?
Dav Pilkey has written and illustrated numerous popular, award-winning books for children, including the Captain Underpants and Dumb Bunnies series; DOG BREATH, winner of the California Young Reader Medal; and THE PAPERBOY, a Caldecott Honor Book. He lives with his wife in the Pacific Northwest.
When we last saw our heroes, George and Harold, they
had been turned into evil zombie nerds doomed to roam a devastated,
post-apocalyptic planet for all eternity. But why, you might ask, didn't
the amazing Captain Underpants save the boys from this frightening
fate? Because Tippy Tinkletrousers and his time-traveling hijinks
prevented George and Harold from creating Captain Underpants in the
first place! Now, having changed the course of human history forever,
they'll have to figure out a way to CHANGE IT BACK!
Could this be the end for Captain Underpants?!!

Who is Geronimo Stilton?
ELISABETTA DAMI is the author of the Geronimo Stilton Series
The daughter of publisher Piero Dami (founder of Dami Editore in
1972) Elisabetta got her start in the world of fiction as a proofreader
at the family publishing house. At the age of 19 she began to write her
first stories. She has assisted sick children as a volunteer ever since
she was young and this experience led to the idea of writing adventure
stories featuring a mouse, Geronimo Stilton, as protagonist. The
character became a hit both in Italy and abroad. It is thanks to this
success that she is able to continue to help sick, orphaned and
abandoned children.
Elisabetta divides her time between Italy and the town of Sedona,
Arizona. She likes to travel and undertake adventurous activities and
explorations, such as when she traveled around the world on her own at
the age of 23. She has climbed Kilimanjaro, done trekking in Nepal, run a
75-mile marathon in the Sahara Desert as well as two New York City
marathons, and done parachute jumps. Some years ago she also earned a
pilot's license.

Who is Holly Webb?
I was born in London in 1976, but now I live just outside Reading, with my husband Jon and my three children, Tom, Robin and William.
I haven’t always been a writer. I used to work as an editor at Scholastic Children’s Books.
I first went there when I was 15 to do work experience (when you go and find out what different jobs are like, and mostly do photocopying). I went back every summer and begged and begged until they gave me a job after I left university. I loved being an editor.
When I was much younger I wanted to be a librarian, because I thought that librarians got to spend the whole day reading all the books in the library. I was very disappointed when I found this wasn’t true. (After that I wanted to be an archaeologist, but I gave up on that idea after I discovered most archaeology was not about pyramids but meant getting wet, cold and muddy, and involved a lot of very complicated science.)
Editors do actually get to spend a lot of the day reading. And making coffee. How exciting to read books by fantastic people even before they are finished, and be able to say, "Oooh, I really liked that girl with the red hair. You should put more about her in. In fact, why don’t you write a whole book just about her?" And that sort of thing. Now I write books, it’s very useful, because I can try to think like an editor about my own work (except it’s very hard to do when it means cutting bits out). But at least I’m less grumpy when other people tell me I need to change things, because I’ve made so many other authors do it too...
